Cawleys Newest Signing!
Football has long been at the forefront of the town; locals of Northampton follow the Cobblers “over land and sea”, chasing the feeling of victory and promotion. The football club recently made a huge signing, appointing Cawleys as their exclusive recycling partner.
Northampton Town Football Club is located and plays its home games at Sixfields Stadium, an iconic standpoint for the town. They have recently teamed up with Cawleys, an independent waste management company to manage their Mixed recycling, Food and Glass waste, and Residual General waste.
Cawleys is the region's largest independent, family-run recycling and waste management company. Boasting impressive processing sites that handle around 1000 tons of recycling and waste daily. Cawleys was also the first company in the UK to provide a specialist food waste recycling service for anaerobic digestion. NTFC’s food waste will be sent to anaerobic digestion which converts the food waste into green energy that is often exported to The National Grid. A much greener alternative to sending waste to landfill.
Northampton Town Football Club is the latest business to enjoy the innovative services Cawleys offer, that will increase their recycling levels and boost their environmental credentials.
Cawleys are also proud to be sponsoring Clarence, Northampton Town Football Club’s mascot for the upcoming season. Clarence works across the local community in Northampton, visiting schools and helping to spread the message of the importance of recycling. At Cawleys we are passionate about educating the next generation on recycling, supporting Clarence through this community partnership is the perfect way for us to help educate the next generation on the importance of recycling.
Kathryn Wright, Sales Director at Cawleys commented:
“As an independent family-run business, we care about local business in our community. We’re so excited to be working with a local organisation such as Northampton Town Football Club to improve environmental credentials. We view all waste as a resource and we’re so excited to be able to spread this message with NTFC and their community engagement programmes in the educational system.”
